Dear Reader,
We live in a current state where discernment often comes from emotional influence. Just because “I feel going there,” would mean “I am allowed to go there”. Things like, “This is really GOD’S will of letting me meet you so that I can ask you about something I am concerned of,” but really hiding under the surface of subtle gossip, and they’re the ones who initiate conversation because they want to know something and or influence this certain person and call it “GOD’S will”, overlooking the consequences of breaking relationships, causing division, destroying one’s integrity— just because it is “GOD’S will.“
NO. This is not GOD’S will. If you think this is, well, you are using your emotions. We become way too superficial and often we spiritualized things where we can use our minds and be logical enough to deal with a certain discomfort. I am disappointed that some of us will use these kinds of cards to fit in our own self-sufficient will.
We compromise justice and objective reasons just because we feel it is being “revealed by the LORD.” NO, again. The canon is close. There are no other revelations beyond what the Scriptures say. If there are other things, then it is not already divine. We have faith, but we do not have blind faith.
I am in really deep sorrow hearing and seeing us today relying on this kind of superficials. It is saddening that our faults are so easily attributed to saying it is HIS will just because it happens as that. Remember that our actions carry these very same consequences, so it is not right to relate it to GOD’s working when we know in ourselves that we have done wrong things. GOD cannot be mocked. The GOD I am talking about here is the HOLY, HOLY, HOLY GOD. By WHOM Abraham, Isaac and Jacob served. The GOD of the ancient days. HE cannot be manipulated. The LORD OF HOSTS. I cannot even begin to stomach the fact that we see HIM so little, and I too, am guilty of that. But since we have this awareness of WHO our GOD is, may we tremble in fear and reverence that we should not make HIS WORDS be distorted just because we want to fit it in in our lives and with our intentions.
Maybe we should redefine “GOD’S WILL”, and in doing that we should go back to what the Scriptures are telling. You can read that for yourself. But if I have to give my take on what it meant to be GOD’S will, it is not doing things by our own hands. It is humbly submitting to the authorities regardless. It is showing the fruits of the HOLY SPIRIT as evidence that HE is still working. It is not influencing others by making the first move and then spilling things quickly without moderation.
It follows through the letter of Apostle Paul which addressed the Christian church in Philippi and occurred between approximately 49 and 51 AD.
It reads,
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Philippians 4:8 (ESV)
If it is causing division, if it leads to cold arguments and the reluctance of reconciliation, if it is intentionally stepping to other people’s fence, then you know it is not GOD’s will.
Discernment is not the voice or the whisper in your head telling you what to do, but it is the conscious working of our mind to reason out in an objective, Scripture-based manner, and that considers the wellness of all, and on top of all, it unifies the Body of CHRIST, not breaking it.
This is how GOD-GLORIFYING an action would become if we do not settle in our version of selfish ‘GOD’S will.’

I know this is a pretty heavy read, so take some time to drink your coffee or milk to loosen up a bit.
I hope you will have a restful night.
Good night.
Grace be upon you.
Sincerely,
Kryz.
