i hope you’ll find someone who loves you the way you love yourself.
that sort of someone who wants to listen to your fears and, yes, listen to them away.
i hope you’ll find someone who cares for you the way you care for yourself.
someone who will look at you with heartfelt eyes, let your tears fall down, and tell you,
“i’m here. i’ll listen. i am here. you’re safe here. i’m here to warm you. i’m here. i won’t go.”
it would be so wonderful to have someone like that.
it would be so beautiful to have someone who listens to you, not to reply, but to listen to understand and, of course, to listen.
