Dear Reader,
I am amazed by the movie ‘Puss ‘n Boots: the last wish.’ It has many quotable quotes, leaving me astonished by its moral lessons. Of course, I don’t wanna spoil the plot, so I will revolve around the quote above.
I love the character of this cute puppy in the movie. It gives off such a strange yet adorable disposition. A disposition I wish having too if I can only have such behavior in all sorts of situations. Again, I don’t wanna be a spoiler of the movie, so I’ll give minimal attention to what happened there.
This cute puppy emphasizes that we should slow down things and appreciate it, REALLY. Frequently we are caught up in the raging to-do’s of living a fast-paced life, leaving us highly exhausted. We wanted to finish that report, so we worked our hands off, yet it left us pretty tired after peeling our eyes on the screen.
We want to arrive at the destination we wish for a vacation. We must remember to take a window view moment to appreciate the sky and other mundane things outside the car.
Yes, you’ve finished the report you’re working on, but have you ever, even if one moment, appreciated what you’re doing and or REALLY learning about the topic? Or it leaves you feeling better only because it is finally done? What about those valuable moments when you can stop and appreciate such a topic? I mean, aren’t we supposed to be REALLY learning?
I hope we can learn to stop by and appreciate things unless we want to have a fast-paced life that often leaves us tiresome and discontented.
It might be a report or a road to the vacation you want, whatever— may we learn to stop for a while and appreciate things that are presented to us daily.
Have a good night.
Grace be upon you.
Sincerely,
kryz.
